Boys' Basketball Team is Region Champions

The Highlanders and Cardinals will share Region 1-3A honors. No tiebreaking game is scheduled.

Corey Littlejohn had a monster game Thursday, but the Heathwood Hall senior star had more fun being part of a balanced team effort in the second half that propelled the host Highlanders boys basketball team to a 72-63 upset of top-ranked Cardinal Newman.

As we began executing and seeing results, it got contagious and the guys started playing with a lot of confidence. That was probably our best game as a team this season" coach Jeff Whalen said.
