On October 16th the SCISA Girl's Golf State Championship was held at Orangeburge Country Club. There were a total of 23 girls from 10 schools that played for All-state designation and four schools that played for the Team State Championship. The team competition finished in this order: 1. First Baptist, 2. Heathwood Hall, 3. Hammond School, and 4. Ashley Hall. The medalist honors went to Katie Rose Higgins from First Baptist with a score of 34. Along with Katie Rose, Jenny Payne from Hilton Head Christian, Taylor Ramsey from Augusta Christian and Katelyn Dambaugh from Northwoods Academy were the All-state designation winners.
